I am a technologist who is passionate about the intersection of privacy, ethics and Artificial Intelligence. I professionally help companies bridge the gap between research, engineering, and legal and ethical compliance.
I hold a PhD in Software Engineering, a CIPP/US, CIPT, AIGP certifications as well as being recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy by IAPP. I have 30+ publications in the areas of big data, privacy-preserving solutions and a book on formal data specification.
In my career of 22+ years, I led research teams working on Artificial Intelligence, Privacy and Fairness investigations. In industry, I helped establish new Responsible AI programs from the ground up. I also led scalable AI governance solutions including data lineage, privacy-by-design infrastructures and automated risk assessments.
